My Story
For as long as I can remember a sense of purpose has driven me. I always wanted to dedicate my life to something meaningful but didn’t know how.
Driven by my interest in numbers, logic, and human behavior I enrolled in Business at the University Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. After my studies, I became a Business Intelligence Consultant, working with data architecture and data analysis. Even though I enjoyed being a consultant, finding solutions, and working with data, I felt something was missing.
It was in 2018 that I decided to redirect my professional career and enrolled in an MSc in Environmental Economics at the University of Copenhagen. Connected to nature since I was a kid, it felt right to go in this direction and I loved it! I started learning about ecological processes, food production impact, the importance of consumer behavior, economic models to find solutions for environmental challenges, and much more. Since then, I have continued diving into these fascinating topics and more (nature-based solutions, nature finance, planetary boundaries, or degrowth) and connecting the dots between them.
Environmental and societal challenges are connected and we need to overcome both if we want to create a sustainable world for everyone. My mission as an independent consultant is to look at these challenges holistically, create solutions, and develop projects that have a positive impact on the planet.
My connection with nature
My bond with nature comes from my childhood. As a kid, I loved spending time in the countryside, exploring the forest and running up and down everywhere. Being close to the sea, on the other hand, is something that I need in my life. Going for a walk at the beach, listening to the waves, or putting my feet in the water, even in winter, grounds me and makes me feel connected.
That feeling has taken me to a journey where taking care of nature has become more and more important in my life as I grew up. Now, it is part of my daily life, and it makes me really happy being able to dedicate my professional career to protecting it.
